Yeah, it sort of sounded like it was building up to something a bit more dramatic and just never did. If only my phone was capable of uploading images to websites. Pretty good edit but not quite up to Unit's normal standards i didn't think. Trails looked sick though One way of putting it. I'd probably go with pretentious BS personally. Rest of it looked good though. And plenty of others infront of the chairlift shot. I stand by my comment on "most view part 1". this gives a much better spread of 2011s photos than the shortlist for POY did. This is cool. This and part 2 when it comes comes should have made up the shortlist for POY. Obviously it would have taken ages to wittle it down but it would have been a fairer representation of the full variety of shots from 2011 rather than just ending up with photos pretty much all from the last 3 months. I'm confused, my mum told me there was only one Santa? "Which begs the question: Why do downhillers still opt for flat pedals?"
Really? You honestly asked that question? Well here's one simple answer, we're not all Danny Hart. Well the method should work fine to chose the overall best of the finalists but the 2nd and third places may not be quite right. Either way it doesn't change the fact that the competition doesn't seem to represent the full years worth of photos. It seems a little odd that it just so happens that nearly all of the photos were from the last quarter. that's why I think there are other better photos that could have made the shortlist but its just for the fact that they were forgotten about as they were a bit older.
